    This is a business and occupational tax imposed on most all health care providers. The tax department imposed this tax when they found out that licensing would be in place for massage therapists July 1, 1998. All licensed massage therapists are obligated to pay this tax on their gross receipts. Please check with the WV State Tax Dept. for further information.

  10. Do I have to wait until I am licensed to practice massage therapy?
